Wp Archivio is a brand that designs carefully curated garments for men and women. It was born in 2021 in Bologna out of a desire to share the treasures of our archive, built over 42 years of research and the acquisition of both small and large collections.
With nearly 100,000 pieces, our archive represents a wide range of styles, spanning American workwear, hunting apparel, military and civilian clothing, and high fashion. Among our most prized possessions is a significant portion of Gianfranco Ferré's clothing collection, alongside the historic archives of WP portfolio brands, each boasting at least a century of heritage.
Inspired by these incredible stories, we’ve created a Made in Italy brand using vintage materials from diverse origins: American military blankets, British waxed cottons, and handwoven linens dyed with natural African pigments. Every piece in our collection is the result of meticulous historical research, as well as an exploration of cultures and traditions through books and research trips.
Our mission is to tell stories with unique accents, all united by the exceptional quality of our fabrics, Italian craftsmanship, and the distinctiveness of every item. Each piece undergoes a labor of love: repairing, sewing, washing, and waxing fabrics one by one. We believe that patches, stitched repairs, and the natural fading of fabrics are not flaws to hide but stories to highlight.
Every detail, every touch on our garments is an act of love, adding even more uniqueness to each creation.
