BLUNDSTONE'S MOST ICONIC BOOTS

Over a century of history told through five silhouettesBlundstone has been a world leader in the footwear industry for over a century and a half. Operating from remote Tasmania, the brand founded in 1870 by Englishman John Blundstone has always succeeded in its intent to create boots with universal appeal, which combined the refinement of British shoemaking with the strength and durability needed for the harsh Australian terrain. The result was a winning formula that has stood the test of time, and which has given the brand an international reputation that has lasted for many decades. In short, that of Blundstone is a long story, which winds through some styles that have remained iconic over time.
Here are the main ones: The Original #500 Series, a cornerstone of the Blundstone range, was iconic from day one. Traditionally constructed in brown, waterproof leather, featuring a non-slip notched rubber outsole, cushioned midsole and removable insole, the Original #500 Series epitomizes everything that is Blundstone. The # 510 is in many ways the twin of the # 500, in a total black colourway. It is a boot with a grittier appearance than the others, with a classic profile, which is also waterproof and resistant to practically any type of environment and weather condition. The main feature of the # 510, in addition to its extraordinary durability, is the way it only gets better over time, as the leather wears and ages naturally. The Dress Series is Blundstone’s most elegant line, featuring a lean profile and fine, supple nabuck leather that is soft to the touch yet robust and superbly comfortable. The Lace Up Series is the brand’s line with the most country flavor. Influenced by Blundstone’s lace-up boots from the 1800s, they feature a lived-in look and visible stitching. With a removable insole and shock absorbing midsole for maximum resistance and comfort, they epitomize the brand’s original spirit.  While relatively new in Blundstone's extensive history, Thermal boots have enjoyed tremendous popularity around the world for their combination of classic, everyday good looks and extraordinary thermal insulation properties. Designed for both the city and the countryside, the # 1477 has a sheep's wool insole and a Thinsulate lining that covers the upper from the inside to withstand even the coldest temperatures.
